BG Chits Bag is an unofficial companion app for the table top miniatures game Battlegroup.
BG Chits Bag goal is to provide the users with a way of playing the game either solo, or with friends.
Shared functions between solo play and multiplayer include:
• Order Generation
• Manual Order Count input
• Order tracking
• Special rules regarding orders from all books released prior to April 17, 2019, (such as Radio Communication and Command Chaos)
• Chit sets from Battlegroup Kursk, and Battlegroup Fall of The Reich
• Special Rules relating to chits from all books released prior to April 17, 2019.
• Random pulling of chits from the bag
• Recycling the chit bag (Adding a new appropriate set once the chit bag is emptied)
• A function to return all special chits to the bag (So an Airstrike pulled is recycled).
• The ability to view the player’s chit that have been pulled from the pot. (Solo play slightly deviates from this as explained below.)
• Warning and Danger levels when current Battle Rating meets or exceeds a specified percentage level (Can be turned off by setting all values to 100%)
• The option to undo a predetermined number of chits that have been pulled (I.E. can undo the up to the last 5 chits that have been pulled. Can be set to -1 to set no limit.)
Solo Play allows user to keep their opponents chits hidden. The player can see how many chits the opponent has pulled, but not what they are or their current battle rating. The opposing player can still have warning levels, if you would like to simulate a change is the opposing players reluctance to commit their forces once a percentage has been reached.
The current rendition for multiplayer is dubbed local play. 2-5 players (or teams) share a single phone. The view for multiplayer has 1 tab for a shared summery page and 2-5 additional pages for each player (or team). The player tabs can be pin locked with a 4-digit pin if players wish at the beginning of the game.
